The novel by the Slovak writer Pavel Rankov MOTHER is based on the freezing events of the end of World War II. World War II and the Slovak state. An emotional story of motherhood not only of the main character Zuzana Lauková, who gets into a women's labor camp in Siberia by an unfortunate coincidence of events. There, he gives birth to his son Alosha, who is the child of a Soviet partisan killed by German soldiers during the SNP. Zuzana must show her inner strength in the fight against the totalitarian regime that is trying to take away her son.
